Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has launched Pakistan Citizen Portal to get timely feedback from the citizen about the performance of The Government departments and ministries. You can download it from this link
PM Khan briefly talked about its functionality and the process of addressing the complaints from all over Pakistan. PM said that
Most important thing is that we will surely make policies through the voice of the General public and we have to deliver an answer within a limited time frame.
PM Imran Khan Said, This has been developed in-house by our young individuals. These are our homegrown individuals who developed this system. The change brought in KP was because of this system that was developed by them
PM Khan said that the Federal and provisional ministers will realize through it that their main aim is to serve the citizen.
Moreover, He said that minorities, women,overseas Pakistanis, and especially the labor force will have the opportunity to tell if the ambassadors offices are fair to them or not.
Moreover, He said that “Naya Pakistan will be made when the public owns the country”.
He further said that “most of the complaints are about corruption and now we will get to know what is happening in all ministries and the offices”.
PM Imran Khan said that “To get out of the burden of loans, investors will have to come into the country and through this complaint cell they can tell what is happening and what needs to be done”.
More he added that “our future is that we want to bring a level of governance that has never been done before here, so that investors will come into the country”.
How Pakistan Citizen Portal Works
This is a simple mobile application that allows a citizen to register themselves on it and register their complaints to the concerned departments.
The Deputy Secretary of Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit (PMDU) Adil Saeed Safi talked to media that everyone from Pakistan. Whether he or she living in Pakistan or abroad can register their complaints after registering their-self through this app. Which is at the beta stage right now.
Adil Saifi said that all the registered complaints will be sent to the heads of the departments who would take appropriate action to address the matter. The time limit to address the complaint will be 10 days maximum.
He further said that about 3760 federal and provincial departments are linked with the portal. The letters had been written to all the provincial governments about the new initiative. This system would be a replication or the portal currently being used successfully in KPK.
The public can register their complaints about multiple sectors of service delivery. Citizens can upload video, photos and audio files too to register the complaints to get proper action on.
About iOS Application
All the registered complaints’ status would be sent to PM on regular basis. The iOS application was in the development phase for iPhone users to register their complaints through this application. This is now available in AppStore, use this link to download for iOS
He further added that this step is taken to establish a responsive government towards citizens of Pakistan.
This Pakistan Citizen Portal is first kind of application in Pakistan. Which uses ICT towards establishing e-government in a true sense.
Any complaint registered by a citizen will immediately be available at the dashboard of the concerned ministries and departments.

No Complaint Will Remain Unsolved by the ministries which are registered through this app. All Will Be Solved With The Absence Of Discord Regardless of the complaint’s Nature.
